Where will your session take place?

I like to give you the freedom to choose the location that feels right for your session. If you have a preferred spot in mind, just let me know when booking.

For locations that are 30 miles outside of my home base, there will be a mileage fee. This fee is $0.75 per mile.

I’ll calculate an additional fee for travel and provide it to you so you can decide whether you’d like to proceed.

If you’re unsure about the location, no worries! I’ll be happy to select one for you based on your preferences and the vibe you’re looking for. I have some vetted locations that I prefer to use all listed in a Location Guide that I provide to every client as well.

My studio is designed with warm, earthy tones and cozy textures to create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Think neutral colors, rattan furniture, macrame accents, pampas grass, vintage doilies, quilts, and all the boho vibes.

This setup is perfect for family sessions, newborns, and milestone moments, offering a soft and timeless backdrop. For those wanting something more minimal or bold, I also offer a clean white wall and floor setup, as well as six seamless backdrop colors to fully customize your session to your style.

Client Closet

Every full and Newborn session booked with me includes access to my perfectly curated client closet. It is not mandatory to utilize my client closet, but it is heavily encouraged. I have collected many pieces that compliment my style of shooting. Feel free to utilize as many pieces for as many members of your session as you’d like.

I also offer my styling assistance to each and every client. Styling assistance is included in every session booked with me. In my client closet I offer pieces for women size XS-XXL, girls size newborn-7, and boys size newborn-5T. I do not currently offer any mens pieces. The closet includes some jewelry if desired as well.

My client closet was created for many reasons:

  1. To take the stress out of planning what to wear for your session.

  2. To save my clients money by not having to purchase a new wardrobe you might only wear for the session.

  3. To elevate your session.

  4. To make everyone feel beautiful and elevate my clients experience throughout the session.


Timing

This period, one hour before sunset, is often referred to as "golden hour." It’s the ideal time for outdoor sessions with me, as the soft, warm light creates beautiful and flattering photos.

Most of my outdoor sessions are scheduled within this one-hour window before sunset. Keep in mind that the exact timing of golden hour varies depending on the time of year.

For families with little ones, I understand that the timing of spring and summer sessions often coincides with your child’s usual bedtime routine. I encourage you to keep this in mind when planning your day, so your little ones are well-rested and ready for a fun, relaxed session.

While it’s certainly possible to schedule a session at other times of the day, we aim to avoid direct, harsh sunlight to ensure the best lighting for your photos. This is why golden hour is such a popular choice—its soft, warm light creates a stunning effect, plus it gives us the opportunity to capture beautiful sunset shots.

FAQs

  • No. The retainer is nonrefundable and nontransferable. A small retainer is required in order to get on the schedule. This means I have blocked this time off for you specifically and others no longer have access to that time/date. Therefore if a cancellation is desired, the retainer remains nonrefundable.

  • I typically watch the weather. I do not like to reschedule a session due to rain to early or because it is overcast. Sometimes the forecasts are wrong therefore I like to wait til closer to session time to reschedule for rain if needed. This is circumstantial but yes, if it’s raining during your session time, we will reschedule. If it’s overcast, you have the option to reschedule for another day to have a shot at having that golden hour light, but using your one reschedule does come with the understanding that the rescheduled date may also be overcast. In this case we would not reschedule again. Please review the rescheduling policy.

  • Essential is a great fit for a quick update or capturing just a few sweet moments. Simple, meaningful, and to the point.

    Keepsake offers more variety, more connection, and more of the story. This well-rounded package is perfect if you're wanting more than just the basics—without going all in.

    Premium is the full experience. No holding back. All the best moments, connections, and details delivered in one gorgeous, all-inclusive gallery.

  • After your session give me 1-2 weeks to return your preview gallery. Once your final photos are selected then give me 1-2 weeks to return your final gallery to you. A full turnaround is about 30 business days, this heavily depends on the season (busy or not) and how quickly or slowly each client chooses their final photos.

  • Yes of course! Feel free to utilize the Klarna/Afterpay payment plan method on my booking website OR message me for a customized payment plan!

Policies


Reschedule Policy

Life happens, and I totally understand! Here’s how rescheduling works to help keep things smooth for both of us:

If You Need to Reschedule:

  • I require at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule your session.

  • I allow one complimentary reschedule per session, as long as notice is given within that 48-hour window.

  • If you need to reschedule again, a $50 rescheduling fee may apply to hold a new date.

Last-Minute Cancellations:

  • If you cancel or request a reschedule within 48 hours of your session, your retainer is non-refundable and a new retainer will be required to book a new date.

Weather or Illness:

  • For outdoor sessions, I keep an eye on the weather and will reach out if we need to move your session.

  • If you or your child are genuinely sick, please reach out as soon as possible and we’ll work together to find a new date

No-Shows:

  • If you miss your session without notice, the session is considered forfeited and no refund will be given.

Important Reminders:

  • Your session time is reserved just for you, and last-minute changes impact my ability to serve other clients.

  • I always try to be flexible and fair, but clear boundaries help us both plan with confidence!

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your session altogether (not just reschedule), here’s what to expect:

Retainers Are Non-Refundable:

  • Your retainer secures your session date and time. This payment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

  • If you cancel and later decide to rebook, a new retainer will be required to secure a future date.

Full Payment Cancellations

  • If you’ve paid your full session fee in advance:

    • 48+ hours’ notice: You may be eligible for a partial refund (minus the non-refundable retainer).

    • Less than 48 hours’ notice: No refund will be given.

What Counts as a Cancellation?

  • Choosing not to move forward with the session at all.

  • Not showing up to your session without notice (no-show).

  • Repeated rescheduling with no confirmed session date.

A Note of Understanding:

I absolutely understand that emergencies and unexpected situations arise. If something serious comes up, please reach out — I’m always willing to talk through your options with compassion and fairness.

Payment Methods

After completing your booking link or if ready to upgrade your package, here are the ways you can submit payment.

You can submit payment online when you are booking. A invoice will be created for you and it will give you the option to pay with a card. If you’d prefer to pay with Venmo or Cashapp or we have discussed another form of payment, scroll to the bottom of that payment page and click “Other options”. This option is super tiny and easy to miss.

I also accept payments through Venmo and Cashapp. If either payment method requests the last four of my phone number, it is 5701.
